Lisa
Anderson is the founder of Positively in Pursuit! an
organization that provides comprehensive personal and
professional development workshops to businesses and
organizations for individuals to increase their employment,
job retention potential, and economic independence.
Positively in Pursuit! personal development series include
workshops in communication skills, goal setting, change
management, self-image, and time management.
Through
Mrs. Anderson’s over twelve years experiences
in the HR field with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
employees, she is able to coach individuals through
the job seeking process with an emphasis on promoting
long-term employment.
Accomplishments:
- Co-designed
and facilitated a job readiness program (STARS) for
high school seniors in the District Heights, MD community.
- Volunteered
(five years) and served one year on the Board of Directors
for Suited for Change, a non-profit organization whose
mission is to help low-income women with professional
clothing and ongoing career education.
- In
her capacity as a Human Resource Manager, she has
served as Guest Speaker at Career Days throughout
Prince George’s County, MD high schools.

in organizations such as KPMG, Care First Blue Cross
Blue Shield, Giant Foods, and the Society for Human

team building training at Consolidated Edison, New
York and the Nassau County Management Assessment Project;
